Kotaalahaaki Gudlu is one of our three Shola Deluxe Forest View cottages, laid out beneath a thick canopy of evergreen trees so the forest feels only a few steps from your bed. Laterite-stone walls, a wood-beamed ceiling and warm interiors keep the cottage cool and quiet, while large windows let the greenery and birdsong in.

The cottage opens into a spacious bedroom with a comfortable sofa corner, a dedicated dressing area with a wooden wardrobe and mirror, and an attached bathroom with a rain shower. Step outside to a private open-air stone alcove — a quiet forest-facing nook perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the resort.

🐦 Did You Know? Kotaalahaaki is the local name for the Red-whiskered Bulbul. Easy to recognise by its tall black crest and the bright red “whisker” patch below its eye, its song is one of the first you'll hear at dawn from your cottage.
