Chittakki Gudlu is the second of our Shola Premium cottages, giving up part of the lake view for a wider, more open sweep of the mountains beyond the resort's boundary. Brick walls, a thatched-roof seating nook and a large garden-facing window make the bedroom feel bright and airy.

A comfortable sofa corner and wooden wardrobe round out the room, so it works equally well for a couple's getaway or a small family looking for extra space to relax between meals and activities at the resort.

Scaly-breasted Munia, the bird Chittakki Gudlu is named after
🐦 Did You Know? Chittakki is the local name for the Scaly-breasted Munia. Named for the delicate scale-like pattern on its chestnut breast, these social little finches often forage in chattering flocks near your cottage.
