Thattiganahakki Gudlu is the second of our Shola Deluxe Mountain View cottages, built around a striking stone accent wall behind the bed. A curtained window brings in a wide view of the forested hills, and a comfortable seating corner makes the room easy to linger in.

The ensuite bathroom sits just off the bedroom with a glass shower door and a well-lit vanity. Step outside onto the private porch, furnished with a wicker sofa and table, for uninterrupted mountain views over your morning coffee.

Great Hornbill, the bird Thattiganahakki Gudlu is named after
🐦 Did You Know? Thattiganahakki is the local name for the Great Hornbill, one of Asia's largest hornbills. Its oversized yellow casque is surprisingly lightweight, and its wingbeats are so loud you can hear it flying overhead from your cottage porch.
